Product Description
Carbon steel pipes are divided into hot rolled and cold rolled (drawn) steel pipes. Hot rolled carbon steel pipe is divided into general steel pipe, low and medium pressure boiler steel pipe, high pressure boiler steel pipe, alloy steel pipe, stainless steel pipe, petroleum cracking pipe, geological steel pipe and other steel pipes.
In addition to ordinary steel tubes, low and medium pressure boiler steel tubes, high pressure boiler steel tubes, alloy steel tubes, stainless steel tubes, petroleum cracking tubes, and other steel tubes, cold-rolled (pulled) carbon steel tubes also include carbon thin-walled steel tubes, alloy thin-walled steel tubes, stainless thin-walled steel tubes, and special-shaped steel tubes. The outer diameter of hot-rolled seamless pipe is generally greater than 32mm, and the wall thickness is 2.5-75mm. The outer diameter of cold-rolled seamless pipe can reach 6mm, the wall thickness can reach 0.25mm, and the outer diameter of thin-walled pipe can reach 5mm, and the wall thickness is less than 0.25mm. Cold rolling has higher dimensional accuracy than hot rolling. General carbon steel pipe: it is hot rolled or cold rolled with high-quality carbon bonded steel 16Mn, 5MnV and other low alloy structural steels such as 10, 20, 30, 35 and 45 or 40Cr, 30CrMnSi, 45Mn2, 40MnB and other alloy steels. 10. 20 and other low carbon steel seamless pipes are mainly used for fluid transmission pipelines. Seamless pipes made of medium carbon steel such as 45, 40Cr are used to manufacture mechanical parts, such as stressed parts of automobiles and tractors. Generally, the strength and flattening test of carbon steel pipe shall be ensured. Hot rolled steel pipes shall be delivered in hot rolling state or heat treatment state; Cold rolling shall be delivered in heat treatment state.

Advantages of carbon steel pipe:
(1) Steel pipes of different diameters can be produced using strip steel of the same width, and steel pipes of large diameter can be produced from narrow strip steel.
(2) Under the same pressure conditions, the stress of the spiral welded seam is smaller than that of the straight seam, which is 75% to 90% of that of the straight seam welded pipe, so it can withstand greater pressure. Compared with the straight seam welded pipe of the same outer diameter, the wall thickness can be reduced by 10% to 25% under the same pressure.
(3) The size is accurate, the general diameter tolerance does not exceed 0.12%, the deflection is less than 1/2000, and the ovality is less than 1%. Generally, the sizing and straightening process can be omitted.
(4) Continuous production is possible. In theory, long steel pipes can be produced, with small head and tail loss, and can increase the metal utilization rate by 6% to 8%.
(5) The equipment is light in weight and low initial investment. It can be made into a trailer-type mobile unit to directly produce welded pipes at the construction site where the pipeline is laid.
